IV International Cotton and Textile Conference and III International Uzbek Cotton Fair on September, 17-19th took place in Tashkent. These two international forums have been organized by the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan at cooperation with the International advisory committee on a clap and magazine " Cotton Outlook ", association "Uzpaxtasanoat" and the Uzbek center of certification of a cotton fibre "Sifat". 450 representatives take part in fair from 250 companies of 34 countries. The increase in number of participants in comparison with 2006 almost twice testifies to a raising prestige of the Uzbek cotton fair. For years of independence in Uzbekistan taking the sixth place in the world on cultivation of a clap and second - on its export, radical structural transformations in хлопководстве are carried out. The special attention thus was given new technologies of reception of a qualitative fibre, wide introduction of principles and mechanisms of market economy in process of realization of such raw material. As a result in the world market the authority and competitiveness of the Uzbek cotton fibre have sharply raised.
